Soccer Talk [No.Infinity]

Gah. Greece won. I still and can't and will never believe it. GAAAAAHH!!!

Today read a looong comment by this guy who frequents the sports column, and was he ever sarcastic! All the analogies and everything, and insulting England too many a times. When I heard that France lost/Greece won, I was thinking of those people who support France. If I watched that match, I would've been totally shocked too. But I didn't. Because I thought that France would win. And to make matters worse, Greece tied with Spain.

And it's easy to win me over with penalty shoots. You know why I support Spain? Because they won Ireland in the penalty shoot. So I loved Casillas too. Because he was such a hero. Therefore, I support Portugal also. Although Portugal won Spain (I won't forgive them for that). And, Rudi Voeller threw in the towel and resigned as the coach of Germany. I really liked Rudi Voeller. I thought he was a good coach. Well.

I really hope that The Netherlands will win. I like the Netherlands more than Germany. During the Germany vs Netherlands match, I was secretly supporting the Netherlands too. Because I like the way they play. Hail Van der Mars. Hail to the team. They must so win. And no, I don't like the coach. Advocaat. Bleahs.

Went shopping today. Went to the sales. Hah. They call it sales. My idea of sales is that the ugliest items go on sales because no one wants them. So it's a ploy to make a person enter the shop and to fall in love with another thing that's not on sale. This theory works with French Connection. Yes, walk into the shop and try looking for the nicest-looking thing around. You'll get what I mean. Anyway, went to Mango. That's one place that -almost- everything is on sale. Bought a top and a skirt. Yummies. The queue was tragic. It was miles long. Maybe the branch I went to had the longest queue only. But boy, was it tragic! I must go shopping more and more often. Then I won't be so wound up. Yayness!

Just heard the weirdest music drifting from the neighbour upstairs. It sounds strangely like the music that TVMobile plays in the morning when it's not replaying all their TV Shows for the umpteenth time. How creepy.

Time to do my Physics homework.

On a parting note: I don't see the link between Greece tying with Spain and France losing. And what Portugal winning Spain has to do with Rudi Voeller resigning.

I stargazed. [8:25 AM]
