Anyway, Portugal's loss is a heartbreaker to me. Nope, I didn't kiss Ronaldo's face on the TV but still it's not nice to see people sad, although I have this distinct impression that thoes football players there are pretty good actors. Just a wandering thought.

Why can't Brazil conveniently shift their butts over to Europe so that I can see them dancing their samba stuff on the field? Whyyyy? I'll even sacrifice Germany losing the competition! No offence, darling Germany. But anyway, I can't wait for the Italians to play, and the Germans too. I saw this picture of this guy who lifted up his shirt. And does he ever need a suntan. Go get a suntan man! A fake one will do fine!

Okay. Let me rearrange my thoughts about the Euro04. Let's see. Spain is going on well. Cheerios to the Spainiards. Germany vs Netherlands. Let's just say...it's all for the best. I will never ever care if Netherlands is left biting Germany's dust. But I will weep tears of sorrow for my darling if they lose. My fingers will be crossed so hard on Tuesday, 15 June, until maybe when I emerge from watching too much Schwarz-Rot-Gold on screen my fingers might remain permanently crossed. And it'll serve as a reminder of my undying love for Germany.

Okay. Italy vs Denmark. Goodness. Gracious. Me. I just realised that there's Spain vs Greece. And with the Greek defeating the reportedly irrepressible Portugese, I have a new reverence for them. I've gotten down to having a significant trembling in my toes when someone mentions the Greeks. Not really. But I'll also be crossing my fingers until the Spanish wins. Oh, no. By the time the whole competition ends my fingers will be as wiry looking as a wiry wire. Oh, back to the tanned Italians. My sunburned, Ferrari/Porsche/Lambourghini-driving heroes. The apples of my eyes. The honey in my hair. The saliva in my mouth. The dirt beneath my feet. The eyeballs in my eye sockets. The...okay. Enough is enough. But I really, sincerely, hope that the Italians will make a lengthier appearance throughout the Euro04.

And on tonight's attraction: England vs France. Oh how I wonder. I have this secret feeling that Fr will win. No! Don't kill me. I'm just being practical. But basing it on yesterday's Por vs Gre match, I really can't say much about this match now. It feels like it's totally unpredictable. But I can't say how much love/dislike Trezeguet. If I'm really not wrong, he's the one who ruined Real Madrid's chances of winning the Champions' League. But as much as I wanna dislike him, I really can't say that I dislike him because he's rather good, you know? Ahh whatever.

But I shall reiterate on this point again: I don't like seeing people sad on the field, it makes me feel sad with them. The thing I really, really dislike is seeing people acting sad. It makes me laugh at them. I suppose they want people to laugh at them too. Why should I not comply?

And, All Blacks beat the Roses 36-3 or sth like that. But I shall forgive the English Roses. There's no Jonny Wilkinson so why bother to bother about the lousy score? But seriously. Whatonearth is wrong with the English? They won the Rugby champs for goodness sake. They'd better show why they deserved to win. Not how why managed to win because of Jonny Wilkinson. Then if dear darling is unavailable then how will the team fare? They'd better buck up, because I'd rooted so hard for the darling Roses and now they show what they're made of? They'd better show what they're really made of next time. Oh, but why didn't darling dear play? I shall find out.
