#1 Big big joke of the day

A man died and went to heaven. As he stood in front of St. Peter at the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him. He asked,
"What are all those clocks?"
St. Peter answered, "Those are Lie-Clocks. Everyone on Earth has a Lie-Clock. Every time you lie the hands on your clock will move".
"Oh," said the man, "whose clock is that?
That's Mother Teresa's. The hands have never moved, indicating that she never told a lie."
"Incredible, said the man. "And whose clock is that one?"
St. Peter responded, "That's Abraham Lincoln's clock. The hands have moved twice, telling us that Abe told only two lies in his entire life."
"Where's George Bush's clock?" asked the man.
"Bush's clock is in Jesus' office. He's using it as a ceiling fan."

Another of those political jokes. Wa. Ha. Ha. Corny or what. I just took a liking to it, because I don't exactly fancy George Bush.

My brain is in a state of listlessness. The other day I was trying to open the letter box, I couldn't turn the key. So I called my sister to turn the key, because the lock could be a little disagreeable sometimes. After like 7 minutes of turning and twisting and what-have-yous. Frustrated, I yanked the key out of the lock and voìla! What did I see? That I'd inserted the key into the wrong lock. How asinine.

Anyway, I am so devastatingly sad. I can't watch the Germany vs Czech Rep match because I have church the next day. Nevermind! I can watch the highlights of the match anytime. I just pray and pray that the Germans will win the Czechies? What do you call the Czech Republik People? Czech Repbulicans? Czechs? Just wondering.

Don't have any more anecdotes or what-call-yous today. So tired. And my piano playing is not emerging from the ashes at all. It's still shabby. It still needs polishing. It needs a lot of work. So does my holiday homework. Ah. I have so many things to touch up on. So little time, so much to do. What a cliché.

The Bahamas
Don't you wish you were there.
It'd be an awesome holiday. Utterly awesome.

Another one. Wished I learned Core Geography. Hehe. Core. I didn't know it was called core geography until someone told me—am I that uluated from...core? Rock formations that look so yummay

Waioli Church in the tiny town of Hanalei
A pretty green church with pretty colored glass on the pretty island of Hawaii.
I'm so going to go there. Ha.

See them all here

I stargazed. [4:51 PM]
